Track & Field Comments and Pictures, 2024

This section will be divided into a number of pages as the Winter/Indoor Track season progresses:

I. Page I marks the beginning of the Winter Season and includes comments on and (when practical) pictures from the Early Winter Season, December, 2023 through early January, 2024, with the first, a Scrimmage at Haddonfield High School, on December 7, 2023; the second, Olympic Conference # 1, at the Bennett Center on December 18th, 2023; and the third, SJTCA Winter Meet # 3 at the Bennett Center on December 18th, 2023. GO CHIEFS!

II. Page II marks the end of Winter Break, January 1st, 2024 through late January, and includes comments on and (when practical) pictures from that period. First is SJTCA Winter Meet # 7 at the Bennett Center on January 3rd; then the Millrose Games Mile Qualifier at The Armory in New York, on January 10th, 2024; the SJTCA Meet at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on January 15th, 2024; another SJTCA Meet at the Bennett Center on January 17th, 2024; a Shot Put Meet at Cherokee on January 18th, 2024; and a second Shot Put Meet at Cherokee on January 23rd, 2024! III. Page III marks the end of January, 2024 through to late February when we approach the beginning of the Spring Season. It includes comments on and (when practical) pictures from that period. First is the Olympic Conference Meet at Bennett on January 26th; followed by another SJTCA Meet at Bennett on January 29th. The State Sectional Championships at Bennett on February 2nd; then another SJTCA meet at Ocean Breeze on February 5th, followed by another SJTCA meet at Bennett on February 6th. The SJTCA sponsores a final SJTCA meet at Ocean Breeze on February 12th! At Cherokee on February 13th, the school sponsores the Cherokee Throw Down # 3 before the State Group Championships at Bennett on February 17th. GO CHIEFS!

IV. Page IV marks late February through to the beginning of the Spring Season in March. It includes comments on and (when practical) pictures from that period, starting with the final SJTCA meet at Bennett on February 20th; the NJ State Meet of Champions on March 3rd at Ocean Breeze; and the New Balance High School Track and Field Nationals, March 7-10th, Boston, MA. and the All-South Jersey Awards recognition on March 20th. V. Page V marks the beginning of the Spring Schedule in late March through mid-April. It includes comments on and (when practical) pictures from the first Lenape District Scrimmage, at Cherokee HS on March 26th; followed by a special Penn Relays Qualifier, at Christian Brothers Academy on April 1st! After that, the Eastern HS Dual Meet, at Cherokee HS on April 3rd; the Don Danser Relays, at Rancocas Valley High School on April 6th; and two back-to-back Cherokee events, the Night of 3200's at Cherokee High School on April 12th, and the Fast Times Meet at Cherokee High School on April 13th. Finally, the Lenape Field Day at Lenape HS on 19th; and the Blue Devil Classic at Westfield, NJ on April 20th! GO CHIEFS!

VI. Page VI marks the beginning of the Early Championship Season in late April through mid-May. It includes comments on and (when practical) pictures from the Lenape Regional H.S. Dual Meet at Lenape on April 22nd; the Penn Relays at Franklin Field on April 26th and 27th; Holmdel's Twilight Night of 3200's at Holmdel H.S. on April 30th; the S.J.Elite Meet at Delsea H.S. on May 2nd; the Trial of Miles at Icahn Stadium, NY on May 2nd; the SJ Open at Rancocas Valley H.S. on May 4th; the Rancocas Valley Dual Meet at RVRHS on May 8th; and the Burlington County Open at Northern Burlington H.S. on May 11th!
