This section will be divided into a number of pages as the Winter/Indoor and Spring/Outdoor Track seasons progress:
I. Page I marks the beginning of the Winter Season, usually starting in December but, with the country in the
throes of the Coronavirus, that's not happening! There was, however, one impromptu opportunity at Haddon Township's Track, the "Ice Breaker Races" for
a few athletes on January 9, 2021. In addition, the District set-up several outdoor "Dual Meets" but all were canceled . . . perhaps other opportunities
will emerge? That said, the team continues to practice when the track is free of snow . . .. GO CHEROKEE!
II. Page II marks the mid-point of the highly-disrupted Winter Season! There are several small
indoor meets scheduled at The Bubble: a Tri-Meet with Timber Creek, Highland and Cherokee on February 27th; and a Dual Meet against Lenape on
March 3rd! In addition, an outdoor Dual Meets scheduled, away at Eastern on March 12th! GO CHEROKEE!
III. Page III marks the end of the largely-canceled Winter Season! There are two outdoor meets scheduled:
the Cherokee Winter Distance Invitational on March 20th; and a final Dual Meet at home against Cinnaminson on March 25th! GO CHEROKEE!
IV. Page IV marks the beginning of the Spring Season! There's a Scrimmage scheduled at Timber Creek High School
on April 14th; and then the first of the Dual Meets at home against Eastern Regional High School on April 21st! Several larger, more competitive
opportunities follow: the Cherokee Night Racing # 1, 3200's on April 23rd, and the Cherokee Invitational # 1, Sprints on April 24th! The last of
the April meets is the second Dual Meet against Washington Township High School on April 28th! Finally, on May 1st, Cherokee will travel to the
Blue Devil Classic in Westfield, NJ for their first relay meet of the season! GO CHEROKEE!
V. Page V marks the beginning of the Mid-Season! The third Dual Meet against Lenape High School is scheduled
on May 5th! Then, Cherokee hosts the Cherokee Relay Invitational on May 7th! Following that are the fourth and final Dual Meet against Cherry
Hill High School East on May 19th; the Burlington County Open on May 22nd; the Haddonfield Distance Night on May 24th; and the Olympic
Conference Championships on May 26th! GO CHEROKEE!
VI. Page VI marks the beginning of the Championship Season! It begins with a sharpening meet, the Cherokee
Last Chance Meet on May 28th; and then the NJSIAA Sectional Championships on June 4th/5th; the Cherokee Distance Night on June 8th
(canceled); the Timber Creek Last Minute Last Chance Meet on June 10th; the NJSIAA Group States Championships on Jun 11th/12th; and
the NJSIAA State Meet of Champions on June 19th! GO CHEROKEE!
